Key to the City

The Key to the City is a project by Friedel Schlör & Bubble skateboard magazine, to open up even more possibilities on a trip with your board. On the one side, it is a multifunctional tool with concrete application possibilities, but on the other side it is also an artistic examination of our living environment, which is intended to encourage us to question what fun is hidden there. The Keys are handmade by Friedel and available in a limited edition.

1.) If the city you want to explore is too big to do it only by board, use the key to attach it to your bike and widen your area

2.) Is there a fence that stops you? Use the key to get over it.

3.) You can also attach the key somewhere to create a footboard for an exceptional camera angle.

4.) Take bits with you and use the key as a screwdriver for everything that needs to be unscrewed.

5.) The tip of the key can be used to clean out grooves, for example to loosen a grate.

6.) If you need a kicker to make a spot skateable, use the key to open a grate and jack it up.

7.) Use the key as a mini tripod to document the spots you explored, if there’s nobody there to film.

8.) And for sure the key can open a beer. There are no limits!
